Dear Friends, The National Association of African Americans in the Department of Homeland Security (NAADHS) is a non-profit organization comprised of positive people personifying professionalism through unity, integrity and perseverance. The mission of NAADHS is to further promote “Team DHS” by assuring equitable hiring and training as well as nurturing and improving the relationship between DHS and the community. In February 2008, NAADHS established a Mentorship Program. The goal of the Mentorship Program is to foster a working relationship through mentoring recipients of the National Achievement Program (NAP), as well as current and prospective DHS employees. Both current and potential DHS employees seeking mentors should complete the online participant application. Additionally, if you are a NAADHS member and are inspired to become a mentor please contact the Mentorship Committee. All applications and questions should be submitted to mentorship@naadhs.org. Thank you in advance for your support! Regards, //s// Demetrius L. Flowers Coordinator, NAADHS Mentorship Committee |
